About Beta Data LP
Marsh McLennan Agency has partnered with Beta Data LP (limited parnership) that provides plan sponsorship for a group health benefit plan designed to serve contract truck drivers. Beta Data LP is in the data brokering business which buys and sells anonymized geo-tracking data. Beta Data LP is a partnership consisting of two types of partners: general partners and limited partners. There is at least one general partner (a data company) in a limited partnership who is responsible for the day-to-day management of the business. Limited partners limit their liability to their investment in the partnership while still benefiting monetarily from the growth of the business. Beta Data LP is an employer and as such may have a group health plan of which it is the plan sponsor. Only common law employees and working owners (i.e. active limited partners) are eligible to participate in a group health plan.
Beta Data LP has engaged Affordable Benefit Choices, LLC as an enrollment partner.
